a man teetering on just the cusp of survival, hands wrought with war. he's a stranger even to himself. greedy hands may find home on the dips of wrists like shackles, and there draw strings through flesh and display him as their puppet. for what is a puppeteer without their marionette?

faulty out the facility, but faulty does not mean without worth. it is without doubt that scrap still has a purpose in the machine, but where and what and how is up to debate.

the climb and clawing to be seen, to be heard, to make decisions with weight. a pawn is not a fulfilling life, and why would a king listen to a pawn? there is only one thing better than the king in chess.
